Love Vibes
Love has been described in infinite ways -“The elixir of Joy”, “The Antidote to Pain”, “The Alpha and the Omega”. Love fuels the fire of our passion. It lifts us from our limitations to our potential. It transcends time and space. Love forgets differences and prejudices. Love heals. Love is the vibration of the spirit – the song of the Universe.
When we live in the love vibration- our energy resonates qualities of compassion, forgiveness, tolerance, respect, generosity, joy and peace. We expand when we love – we contract when we hate.
When we love, we exude a magnetic charisma that attracts positivity and goodness. We feel light and shine brighter.
When we love we see a connection – that every presence on this planet – human, animal, plant – every material are all interdependent – there is no separation. What affects one – affects us all!
When we are in the love vibration we encounter people and situations that inspire us and guide us toward the fulfilment of our potential and passion. We are in the flow of life. Our role shifts from reactive to creative. We are empowered!
Festivus for the Rest of Us
You have been named supreme ruler of the universe. Your first order of business is creating and instituting a holiday or festival in your honor. What day of the year is your holiday? What special events will take place? Describe YOU DAY in as great a detail as you can muster: the special foods we’ll consume, the decorations we’ll use…everything.
Photographers, artists, poets: show us FESTIVE.
Today you have bestowed upon me this rare honour – Master of the Universe. I will do my best to live up to this image by leading you all – my people by upholding the values of truth, integrity and goodwill.
For all your hard work and dedication in the spirit of teamwork, I would like to declare a holiday, a day of celebration – Unity Day on the 2nd of October. I would like you all to celebrate your achievements and wish that you all have a future full of peace, prosperity and happiness.
I will pass a decree that all men and women shall live as equals, special assistance and help will be given to the poor and needy, the handicapped and the disadvantaged among us. I urge you all to come forward and celebrate this day in a spirit of collective endeavour to spread love , happiness and goodwill for the benefit of humankind.
We shall all assemble in the central square where there will be a special feast for all of you – pastas, pizzas, a choice of international spreads, salads, fruits, pastries and desserts to cater to all your tastebuds. We will have games and competitions. All the kings and prime ministers can decorate their countries in the best manner and you and your families will be given colourful attire. There will be prizes for the best programmes by country, best decorations and best food too,
There will be a riot of colours and music and we all will come together to put aside all our differences and celebrate the oneness that binds all of us.
I will lead you all as a friend and guide. I will seek your opininon and consensus on important bills and I would love to see you all exercise full freedom of speech and your rights. May our democracy flourish and be a beacon of hope for other leaders.
I look forward to serving you all in the years ahead and I once again thank you all from the bottom of my heart for bestowing upon me this rare honour.

Day 17 — There are many mysteries in the universe. If there were one truth I could learn, it would be…
The incredible difference in scale between the tiny world we live in every day and the vastness of all time and space begs the question of whether we will ever be able to grasp the fullness of the universe.
The universe around us is a huge mystery and there are so many perplexing wonders. The sun which is at the centre of the universe is a gigantic mass of fire and its size defies our imagination. You could fit 109 eartths across the sun’s diameter. If you could melt the earth into a liquid and pour it into an empty sphere the size of the Sun, then you really could fit in the equivalent of about 1,300,000 Earths.
Apart from our solar system also there are millions of galaxies. Scientists are still exploring for evidence of life on other planets. Several theories like the big bang theory and others have been put forth to explain the origin of our Universe but this question still baffles us all. Everything around us in nature works with such precision that this creation is a mind-boggling wonder.
I am always in awe about the question of creation and I am constantly in search of the truth. Darwinian theories of biologists, Big Bang theory, Steady state theory & Infinite Universe theory from Science and philosophy also seeks to understand this great mystery.
But my belief is that there is a Universal consciousness that pervades everything, which is the substratum that creates, sustains and ultimately destroys all life. I am still a seeker of this truth……:)
Our Universe – its really, really BIG….
Our universe is so BIG (i can’t find an adjective to describe its size) that it is quite difficult to even imagine its size. Here are some facts about the size of our universe! After seeing some videos, I find myself and our earth so insignificantly small in this whole scheme of the universe .. it always baffles my mind!
If our sun was hollow, it could hold about 1 million, 300 thousand earths
We thought the entire universe consists of what we know today as the Milky way galaxy. But today we know that it is just one of hundreds of billions of other galaxies
Each galaxy is home to around 200 billion stars. This is more than the grains of sand on all the beaches of planet earth
The largest known star – Epsilon – is so big that, if hollowed out, would hold 27 billion of our suns.
On a trip round the sun the earth travels over a million and a half miles a day
It would take a car travelling at 100mph more than 29 million years to reach the nearest star
And here are some videos to try to visualise the extent of our universe
