A beacon of values
A timeless lighthouse

In the limelight
or hidden from scrutiny
You shine forth
steady and tireless

A sudden burst of wind
Threatens to extinguish
A spurious thought
tries to lead me astray

The spark in my bosom
is constant and fearless
Leading me from finite darkness
To immortal light
