Catching sunrise at 2000m with a cup of hot tea

One of the highlights of our recent trip was catching the sunrise at the mountain top (G.Brinchang) in Cameron Highlands.  We awoke early in the morning at 5:45am and our guide drove us for a 40min ride up the mountain.  It was very cool and dark up here.  We were all busy taking pictures of the changing colours of the sky as the sun rays broke through the clouds.

Meanwhile our guide prepared hot drinks and some snacks for us.

The landscape was awesome and we enjoyed every moment!

Your post reminded me of Tiger Hill in Darjeeling and Gnathang Valley in Sikkim. I love watching the sun rise or set across the mighty mountains because the breath taking scenic view gives me the ultimate satisfaction. Went through the images and these are just awesome.
