Day 09 — When the cashier gives me this amount of money for change I know it’s too much money to dump in the charity bucket…

When I visit a store and the cashier gives me $50 for change I know it’s too much money to dump in the charity bucket…

That does not mean that  I do not offer donations to charity.  With so many charities around, it is sometimes difficult to find out if the money reaches the right hands – those who are really in need.  I do contribute upto $100 to charities but I go there personally to make the donation.  Sometimes, I also prefer to volunteer my time with the needy as you learn to understand their situation from

I believe that we have to come out of the confines of our family and realize our role in the society and the world at large.  We can do a small deed, a little contribution every year to a charitable cause and this can go  a long way in the betterment of the lives of millions of underpriviledged, poor, malnourished, intellectually challenged and disabled people as well as other needy all around the world.
