Natures rythm

I stand amid the vast fields
And gaze at the expanse of nature
Looking at the horizon
Where heaven and earth unite in embrace
I am filled with peace
The blue skies beckon me to reach forth
To explore new frontiers
Everywhere I look I can only see
A manifestation of your glory
The tender weeds sway with joy
A fleet of birds glide in the sky
And natures rythm echoes
Through  fields and birds and skies and me

This prompt seems to have brought out the best in everyone. Yours is another wonderful poem based on it. Nicely done!

Beautiful and I’m stuck with the phrase, ‘nature rhythm echoes’, too good. Delighted to found you on Indiblogger…

I love the sense of nature which “echoes” … like never-ending sounds of nature all around … saturated by nature … it reinforces the vivd images of nature which are found throughout the poem ! Lovely !

I like that you called the wheat, tender weeds. You gave the picture a good wholesome melancholy (and, no, I don’t think of that as a contradiction :).
